Vinted auto reply: answer buyers without spending all day on it

Updated · 5 min read

On Vinted, half of all messages ask the same things: is it available, what are the measurements, what is it made of, can you combine postage, will you take less. Fast answers sell, but typing them by hand takes hours a week. Here is how to automate them without sending nonsense.

Why replying fast matters

A buyer who asks about one item is usually looking at several similar ones. The first seller to reply often gets the sale. And a precise answer (measurements, fabric, any flaw) avoids returns and bad reviews.

The questions that keep coming back

QuestionWhat you need to answer it
“Still available?”The listing status: live, reserved, sold.
“Measurements?”The measurements in the description.
“What fabric is it?”The composition on the label.
“Can you bundle?”Your own rule for bundles.
“Best price?”Your floor price, which must never be revealed.

Two ways to automate with OnceAndSold

The OnceAndSold inbox brings your Vinted, eBay, Leboncoin and Beebs conversations together. For each message, pick a mode:

  • The AI writes the reply from the item’s details and the conversation.
  • Your own phrases: write your answers to common questions once, with gaps such as {mesures} (measurements) or {taille} (size). The AI recognises the question and picks the right phrase, filled in from the item.

Either way, the reply can wait as a draft for you to check, or send itself after the delay you choose, within a daily cap.

Nothing made up: the safeguards

  • Missing details are never invented: if the measurements are not in the listing, the phrase that quotes them is not sent.
  • Your floor price stays secret: haggling goes through offers, following your discount tiers.
  • Promises wait for you: a reply about posting, tracking or refunds is never sent on its own.
  • Messages the AI left are pinned at the top of the inbox while the buyer is waiting.

Buyers in other languages

Buyers write in French, Italian, Dutch or Spanish? Their message is translated in the inbox, and the reply goes out in the buyer’s language.

Order follow-up messages

Beyond questions, OnceAndSold can send on its own the messages that reassure buyers after a sale: a thank-you, parcel shipped, parcel at the pick-up point, sale complete, and a reminder when an accepted offer hasn’t been paid. The details: order automations. Every conversation is in one inbox, with quick replies and translation.

Turning it on

  1. Create your account, add the extension and connect your sites.
  2. In the inbox, write or complete your answers to common questions.
  3. Under a draft, turn on automatic sending, then set the delay and the daily cap.
Start with a delay of a few minutes and read the first replies that go out: you will soon see whether the tone sounds like you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I set up an auto reply on Vinted?

Vinted has no built-in auto reply. With OnceAndSold, a reply written by the AI or taken from your saved phrases can be sent on its own after a delay, from your own Chrome browser.

Can the AI tell a buyer something wrong?

It only uses the item’s details and the conversation. Missing details are not made up, your floor price is never given, and any promise about posting or refunds waits for you to check it.

Does it work on eBay too?

Yes: the inbox covers Vinted, eBay, Leboncoin and Beebs, and automatic replies can apply to all four.
