Item details filled in by AI

Add your photos, click a button: the AI suggests complete item details. You stay in control of everything.

How to use it

  1. Add the item’s photos to its details.
  2. Click ✨ Fill in with AI, under the photos.
  3. Read through the suggestions, correct them if needed, then Save.

What the AI suggests

  • A title of 80 characters at most (eBay’s limit), without emoji;
  • a description in the style of your last two descriptions;
  • brand, category (from your existing categories), size, colour, condition and weight.

The AI looks at up to 10 photos per item: the first 10, in the order of the item details. Make sure the photo of the label is among them.

Green, orange and “Use”

  • Empty fields are filled in and outlined in green, or in orange when the AI isn’t sure: check those first.
  • For a field you had already filled in, the suggestion is shown next to it with a Use button: nothing is overwritten without your say-so.
  • Nothing is saved until you click Save.

AI credits

Each account gets 100 AI credits a month, renewed on the 1st. 100 credits are worth €1 (the AI’s cost price): item details from 4 photos cost about 0.1 credit, a draft reply in the inbox 0.01 credit, an AI photo 5 credits. On the item details, what’s left is shown as a number of items. Once the credits are used up, the button says so.

AI worn photos

The 📸 AI worn photos button on the item details creates 1 to 3 photos of a person wearing the item, from your real photos: clothing, shoes, a bag or jewellery. You choose which real photos the AI starts from (up to 4): the first one ticked is the model, add the one showing the label or logo.

  • True to the item: the AI first notes every detail (number of rows, buttons, text, colours), then checks every photo it creates. A photo where a detail differs is redone, then dropped after 3 attempts.
  • One consistent series: the same person and the same setting on all the photos from one run.
  • The right figure: the person matches the item’s size and gender (an S and an XL don’t look the same when worn). If they’re neither in the item details nor on the photos, the AI asks you before it starts.
  • Objects are refused (toy, box, book, decoration…): from their category, otherwise from the photos, before any image is created. Nothing is charged.
  • The photos are added after your real photos, with an “AI” badge. The main photo is always a real photo. Check them before publishing and delete any you don’t like.

Cost: 5 credits per photo (about €0.05), shown before each run along with what you’ll have left. A photo rejected by the check isn’t counted.
