List and relist on Vinted

List an item on Vinted in one click, and put your listings back at the top of the results without Vinted recognising the photos.

List an item

The item’s ⋯ menu → List on Vinted, or the List on Vinted button on the Vinted row of the item details. The app fills in Vinted’s form in your Chrome with the item’s information and photos, then links the new listing to the item.

  • The Vinted category is chosen on the Vinted row of the item details (type to search); the attributes Vinted asks for in that category (size, condition…) appear underneath.
  • Choose the photo editing (see below) and, if you like, Boost the listing.
  • If Vinted rejects the title or description, fix them from the Publishing tab: see Title or description rejected. For any other rejection, its tab stays open on the form: correct it and publish yourself, and the listing’s link is added to the item details.
  • If Vinted keeps the listing as a draft (check, missing information), the Vinted row switches to To list instead of Live: finish it on Vinted.

To schedule several listings at a human pace, see Scheduled listing.

Relist a listing

Relisting = the current listing is deleted (views and favourites lost) then put back online with the same information: it goes back to the top of the results. Old copies of the same item left in your wardrobe are deleted too.

  1. ⋯ menu → Relist on Vinted, or tick several items and click ↻ Relist in the bottom bar.
  2. Choose the price: keep it, lower it by N % or by N €. You can also change a row’s price directly.
  3. Choose the photo touch-ups (see below) and the delay between two relists.
  4. Click Relist. Stop after the current listing interrupts a series.
Protect your account: keep the recommended delay between two relists. The app also limits the number of relists per day.

A different title and description on each relist

A different title helps against duplicate detection. In Settings → Sales → Dormant listings → Customise, Title on each relist:

  • Words in a different order (default, free): brand, main part of the title and size swap places; the title is always different from the last one published, otherwise it stays as it is;
  • Rewritten by AI (a few credits): a rewrite that loses the brand, size, reference or a word with a number in it is rejected, and the app simply puts the words in a different order;
  • Unchanged.

Description on each relisting: Varied phrasing (default, no AI: “Fast shipping” becomes “Quick dispatch”…), Lightly reworded by AI (a few credits; rejected if it loses a number, the brand or the size), Paragraphs in another order or Unchanged. Nothing is added or removed, and the hashtags at the end don’t move.

Titles and descriptions move away from every version already sent for the item, not just the last one.

This applies to every relist, manual or automatic, on Vinted as well as for assisted relisting on Leboncoin, eBay and Beebs. The new title only goes to the site: the item details keep their title.

Vinted account health

The Vinted account health widget on the home page (add it with Customise if it isn’t there) gives a score out of 100 based on what the app has done on Vinted over the last 7 days: number of listings and relists in 24 hours, listings sent almost back to back, listings in the middle of the night, failures, offers to likers, and above all the anti-bot checks it ran into.

  • Good (80 and above), To watch or Risk of a block (under 55), with practical advice: let the account rest, spread things over the day, turn down a setting that’s too aggressive…
  • Automations paused after an anti-bot check are listed there, with the time they resume.
  • Vinted doesn’t publish any limits: the thresholds are deliberately cautious, based on the pace of a seller who lists by hand (a dozen listings a day at most).

Photo touch-ups

Sites recognise photos that have already been posted. Touch-ups make them look new, without generative AI (AI-made images carry an invisible watermark that sites detect) and without ever changing your originals. Photos made with “AI worn photos” are never reused when relisting. Touch-ups add up:

  • New background: on a photo taken flat, the background is replaced by a surface (floorboards, sheet, throw, tiles, stone…) keeping the original light and shadows; on a photo taken at an angle (table receding, wall behind), the table and wall only change colour, so the perspective stays right; the background is the same on every photo of the listing: the floor and wall are recognised from one photo to the next and get the same colour everywhere; as soon as one photo is taken at an angle, the whole listing is recoloured rather than mixing both looks; on a photo where the item fills the picture, only the bits of background change colour. Cutting out takes up to 15 s per photo, once per photo;
  • Invisible touch-up: a crop that keeps the whole item, a slight zoom, barely different shape and colours, no frame;
  • Different cover photo: another of your real photos goes first (never the one from the previous listing);
  • Horizontal mirror (avoid with a logo or text) and shuffled order.

Recommended: new background + invisible touch-up + different cover. On each relist, the app draws several touch-ups and keeps the one least like every photo already posted for the item. For reference: two real photos of the same item are 0.75–0.80 alike; after a few relists, a real new photo is still the safest option.

In the Relist window, See 3 suggestions shows three draws with their cover and similarity: the one you choose is used as is the next time the item is relisted.

Choose your backgrounds

In Settings → Photos: surfaces (for photos taken flat) and wood and paint colours (for photos taken at an angle). Everything is on by default and drawn at random, without repeating the previous listing’s background; untick what you don’t want. You can add your own surface: photograph your floor, sheet or table straight from above, without direct sun or objects. A photo taken at an angle is kept as a colour. Each surface also provides its colour. You can also add a colour with the eyedropper or a colour code.
