Photograph your items with your phone
Take the photos where your items are, with your phone: the item details are created as you go, and you finish them on your computer.
Connect your phone
- On the computer, click the On my phone tab in the sidebar, or + New item → With my phone: a QR code appears.
- Scan it with the phone’s camera. The phone is connected to your account, with no password to type, and opens on the photo app (straight on the camera from With my phone).
- To keep it like an app: ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen on Android, Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone.
The QR code only works once and is valid for 5 minutes; show another one if you need to.
The photo app is made for the phone: a button to photograph an item, and the list of your items In progress (drafts and ready to list), which you reopen with a tap to add a photo or correct the details.
Photograph and have the details filled in
- Each photo is shrunk and then uploaded straight away; the item’s draft is created from the first one.
- Fill in with AI suggests a title, description, brand, size, condition… (the cost in credits is shown on the button). Check the essentials on the spot.
- Move on to the next item: the item details wait for you as drafts in the inventory.
Scan the location
Putting the item away in a box? Scan its location label from the capture mode: the item’s location is filled in, and you’ll find it again when it’s time to pack the parcel.
Finish on the computer
Open the draft on the computer to add the price, choose the sites’ categories and publish: publishing goes through Chrome and the extension.
